Elmira's Cowick Fined, Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced that Elmira ¬â¢s Corey Cowick has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #438, Elmira at Las Vegas, on Feb. 5.
Cowick was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #39.5 at 4:00 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ¬â¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ¬â¢s Hardship Fund.
Cowick will miss Elmira ¬â¢s game at Las Vegas on Feb. 8.
