
Toledo Releases P.J. Martin

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that they released defenseman P.J. Martin.
Martin, the native of Haverhill, MA, made his return to a Storm uniform just for last Saturday and Sunday in Trenton. P.J. has returned to his home in Boston. Although he did not register a point in those games, Martin did play as a plus 1 with 4 penalty minutes. Over the previous 2 seasons, PJ has appeared in 88 Storm contests scoring 11 goals, while adding 27 assists. Last season, Martin started the year as Captain of the Storm prior to playing in 11 games with Lowell in the American Hockey League.
The Storm will next hit the ice in Wheeling Friday night at 7:30pm. The
Storm will return to Toledo Sports Arena on December 9th, when they will
welcome in the Wheeling Nailers at 7:35pm. Great tickets for the game are
