
Ballantyne, Rudkowsky Activated Off Injured Reserve

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have activated defenseman Paul Ballantyne off the 30-day injured reserve and goaltender Cody Rudkowsky off the three-day injured reserve in preparation for tonight's game at first place Idaho.
Ballantyne, 24, returns to the line-up this evening for the first time since Oct. 27. The Waterloo, Ontario native and fifth-year pro has appeared in just five games for the RoadRunners this season after missing 47 games last year due to injury. Ballantyne currently has 32 goals and 94 points in 213 career games.
Rudkowsky was placed on the three-day injured reserve following Saturday's game at Fresno. He is currently 2-2-0 on the season with a 3.07 goals against average and a .903% save percentage.
The RoadRunners open a three-game series with the division leading Idaho Steelheads at 7:10 p.m. tonight from Qwest Arena in Boise. Catch all the action live on www.phxroadrunners.com beginning with "RoadRunners Countdown" at 6:50 p.m.
Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 as they welcome the Victoria Salmon Kings. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
