
"Mullet And Mohawk" Night Announced

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has announced a special "Mullet and Mohawk" Night will be hosted at Stockton Arena on Saturday, December 9, as part of the 7:30 p.m. PT game against the Las Vegas Wranglers.
For Saturday's game the Thunder will take time to pay tribute to all things hair, which includes free admission for the first 100 fans who sport a "mullet" or "Mohawk" hair style, on-ice promotions, and various activities on Stockton Arena's fan deck.
An itinerary of the entire festivities is as follows:
MULLET AND MOHAWK NIGHT ACTIVITIES:
* (Pre-game)
o 4:00 p.m.: Stockton Arena North Entry (outside) - Contest judging begins for the
first 100 fans to arrive with a "Mullet" or "Mohawk" hairstyle
o 6:30 p.m.: Doors open to Stockton Arena - first 100 fans with "Mullet" or "Mohawk"
hairstyle receive free admission
* (1st intermission)
o Ice level: "Tug-O-War" fan contest between "Mullets" versus "Mohawks"
* (2nd intermission)
o Ice level: Parade of all participating fans with "Mullet" or "Mohawk" hairstyle
o Stockton Arena videoboard: Video montage of participating fans in attendance with
"Mullet" or "Mohwak" hairstyle
In addition, the Thunder is scheduled to host its first player series card night at Stockton Arena on Saturday. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a set of Thunder player trading cards, presented by KHOP 95.1, In-Shape Fitness Center and TNT Quick Connect.
An ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers, the Thunder drew 228,364 fans to Stockton Arena in its inaugural season, the ECHL's best attendance mark for 2005-06.
