Titans announce Riveting Reading program

TRENTON, NJ (January 6, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Friday the launch of their "Riveting Reading" program. The Titans will be reaching out to elementary schools in the Mercer County area to promote reading and literacy among students.

Each student will be asked to read at least one book and give a brief summary of the story for which they will receive a free ticket to a Titans game. Children who read two books will be given two free tickets, while any student who reads three or more books receives four free tickets and their name on the Sovereign Bank Arena jumbotron during a selected game.

Titans' players also will visit classrooms during the season to read to students and each child will receive a Titans bookmark and a book sheet to assist their "Riveting Reading".

The Titans return home to host the Reading Royals on Saturday, January 7 at 7:00pm.
