Titans drop Bombers 9-1

Dayton Bombers News Release


Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers dropped a 9-1 decision to defending Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titans Friday night at the Nutter Center.

The Bombers opened the scoring, as it was PAUL KELLY scoring off of assists from WES RYPIEN and TYSON TEPLITSKY at the 4:55 mark of the first. This would be the lone Bombers goal of the night.

The second and third period would see nine unanswered Trenton goals. MIKE AYERS started in goal for the Bombers, and SEAN BRODERICK would finish the game, replacing AYERS at the start of the third.

At the end of the game, it was Trenton out shooting Dayton 48-18, and would hold on for the 9-1 win. With the win, Trenton improves to 16-13-2, and the Bombers now hold a 9-19-3 record with the loss.
