Timbers Travel to Face San Jose Earthquakes Tonight at Earthquakes Stadium

Playing the second of three games in seven days, the Portland Timbers travel to face the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS regular-season action tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), at Earthquakes Stadium. The match will feature a local broadcast on FOX 12 PLUS, with local radio broadcasts on 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).

Wednesday's match marks the 24th regular-season meeting between the Timbers and the Earthquakes since the 2011 season. Portland leads the all-time regular-season series against San Jose with a record of 11-5-7. The last time the two sides met, the Timbers defeated San Jose 3-1 at Providence Park on Oct. 6, 2019. Notably, in 14 league appearances against San Jose, Diego Valeri has tallied six goals and eight assists. Additionally, Sebastián Blanco has tallied two goals and an assist in seven regular-season appearances against the Earthquakes.
