Game Notes: Sounders FC at La Galaxy - August 26, 2020

Following a decisive 3-0 road win over Portland on Sunday, Sounders FC (3-1-2, 11 points) continues 2020 MLS regular season action on Wednesday with a road match against the LA Galaxy (8:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, Amazon Prime Video, Univisíon, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). Raúl Ruidíaz scored twice and added an assist en route to being voted MLS Player of the Week. The Galaxy is also coming off a road win against a rival, defeating LAFC 2-0 on Saturday at Banc of California Stadium.

Sunday began a stretch of of six games for Sounders FC through September 10, as the first phase of the league's continuation of play kicks off. MLS plans to announce the balance of the regular season schedule by early September as the league continues to work with infectious disease experts, league and club medical personnel, and government officials in all markets in charting a course for the completion of the 2020 season.
