
Timbers to Host Preseason Tournament February 16-22 at Providence Park

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers today announced details of their 2020 preseason tournament at Providence Park, presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky. Taking place from Feb. 16-22, the preseason tournament will feature the Portland Timbers, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Minnesota United FC and the New England Revolution.
The preseason tournament will consist of three doubleheaders at Providence Park. Portland will face Cascadia-rival Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday, Feb. 16, with kick-off set for 5 p.m., while New England and Minnesota will face each other in the opening match that day at 2:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Feb. 19, New England and Vancouver will square off at 5 p.m., while the Timbers play host to Minnesota United FC at 7:30 p.m. On the final day of the tournament, Saturday, Feb. 22, Vancouver and Minnesota will face each other at 2:30 p.m., with Portland and the New England Revolution set to close out the tournament at 5 p.m.
Tickets for the Timbers preseason tournament are included as part of 2020 Timbers Annual Memberships. Individual tickets, which allow entry to both matches each day, start at $15 and are currently available online. Full tournament ticket packages, starting at $30, are also available for purchase online.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary in MLS, the Timbers will play host to Minnesota United FC at Providence Park in the club's 2020 season opener on Sunday, March 1 at 4:30 p.m. (Pacific).
