
Impact Signs Mehdibob3 as eSports Player Presented by BMO

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Friday the signing of its new eSports EA Sports FIFA20 player presented by BMO, Mehdi Benghalem, known by his gamer tag mehdibob3, for the 2020 eMLS competitive season.
"I am very proud to sign a professional contract with the Impact", said mehdibob3. "I can't wait to wear the colours of my city's club to represent Montreal in the eMLS season."
The 20-year-old Montreal native will represent the Impact as soon as January 9, in Philadelphia, for the eMLS League Series One, followed by the eMLS League Series Two in Portland on February 15. He will then be playing in the eMLS Cup at SXSW in Austin on March 21. Mehdibob3 was a 2017 Americas regional finalist for the FIFA eWorld Cup. This will mark the third edition of eMLS and the third year the Impact has been involved in the league. LyesMTL was representing Montreal in 2018 and 2019, but recently retired from professional competition.
