Portland Timbers News Release
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers today announced the club has entered into a multiyear, multifaceted partnership with Dutch Bros Coffee as the exclusive coffee, cold brew and energy drink of the Timbers and Portland Thorns FC. As part of the collaboration, Dutch Bros holds exclusive logo rights on all Timbers training apparel to be worn during training sessions and pregame as the official training jersey partner of the club.
The new Dutch Bros training apparel will be on display for the first time when the Timbers take the field for a road match on Sunday against the LA Galaxy.
"We couldn't be happier or more proud of our collaboration with the great people and products at Dutch Bros," said Mike Golub, president of business for the Timbers. "Dutch Bros is a terrific partner and a big part of the Providence Park experience."
The Timbers and Dutch Bros will collaborate on a number of community outreach activities as part of the partnership, including a soccer clinic in Grants Pass, Ore., the official headquarters of the company, with Timbers and Thorns FC players. Together, Dutch Bros and the Timbers will design an exclusive, custom Timbers training top with all the proceeds from sales of the custom top being donated to support a non-profit community initiative. Additionally, Dutch Bros will continue to have a strong presence on gameday at Providence Park with promotions, in-stadium signage and Dutch Bros products for purchase in its concession stand inside the stadium.
"Dutch Bros is proud to partner with the Portland Timbers and Thorns organization," said Joth Ricci, president of Dutch Bros Coffee. "We are excited for the stadium transformation and look forward to providing more Dutch Bros options at Providence Park."
