
MNUFC Midfielder Darwin Quintero Receives Green Card

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today that midfielder Darwin Quintero has received his U.S. Green Card. The Colombian international will no longer occupy an international spot on the Loons' roster.
Quintero, 31, joined MNUFC in April of the 2018 season from Club America as the club's first Designated Player. Since his debut April 14 against Portland Timbers, Quintero has played a key role to the Loons' attack, scoring 11 goals and 15 assists in 2018. The midfielder already has two goals and three assists in three games this season and two MLS Team of the Week appearances.
Minnesota United's next match is at New England Revolution, Saturday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. CT. The club has two more away games before the inaugural match at Allianz Field on Saturday, April 13 at 4:00 p.m. CT.
