Tim Erixon Returned on Loan to Springfield

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced that forward Tim Erixon was returned on loan to the team by the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night.

In 25 games with the Falcons this season, Erixon has totaled 23 points, four goals and a team-high 19 assists. The former first-round draft selection also has posted a +6 plus-minus rating.

Acquired by the Blue Jackets in a trade with the York Rangers in July, 2012, Erixon has appeared in two games with Columbus this season, amassing one shot and a +2 rating. He also played in 31 games with the Blue Jackets in 2012-13 and 18 games with the Rangers in 2011-12.

The Falcons are back in action Friday, January 31 at the Worcester Sharks at 7:00 p.m. The team returns to the MassMutual Center Tuesday, February 4 to host the Albany Devils at 7:00 p.m.

Fans are invited to the MassMutual Center in 2013-14 to watch the reigning Northeast Division-champion Falcons compete in their 20th anniversary season.
