Red Deer Rebels News Release

SECOND PERIOD
Medicine Hat took the lead when Trevor Cox found a rebound and beat Toth for his second goal of the series 3:09 into the middle frame.
Steven Owre, the third member of the Tigers top line, found a loose puck in the crease and scored to make it 3-1 for Medicine Hat at the 10:34 mark.
THIRD PERIOD
Alex Mowbray sprung Dryden Hunt on a breakaway, he beat Toth through the five hole to open up a 4-1 Tigers lead 1:19 into the third.
The captain finally broke through for the Rebels as Conner Bleackley beat Langhamer from a sharp angle for his first goal of the series. Meyer Nell and Fleury assisted on the goal that pulled Red Deer within 4-2 with 12:02 to go.
