Americans Name Eric Comrie Playoff MVP

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager announced today that 19-year-old goaltender Eric Comrie has been named the team's 2015 Playoff Most Valuable Player. Comrie wins the award for the second straight season and is just the third goaltender in the franchise's history to earn the honor.

The 6'1, 180-pound netminder from Edmonton, Alberta appeared in all four of Tri-City's playoff games this season, collecting a 4.22 goals against average and a 0.894 save percentage, including an incredible 66-save performance in Game 4. Eric had a tremendous career in Tri-City, finishing in the top five in every all-time major regular season goaltending statistic for the Americans, including the all-time leader with a 0.916 save percentage.

"Eric was the backbone of our team," Tory said. "We wish him all the best as he moves on to pro hockey."
