
Tiger-Cats Launch T.V. Show

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are pleased to announce the launch of "Cats on Cable - The Ticats Show".
The Ticats Show's first broadcast will be on Thursday August 26th from 8-9pm. Following the show aired on the 26th, "Cats on Cable" will air the Thursday prior to every home game for the remainder of the season. The hour-long show is the result of the three-year partnership between the Tiger-Cats and Cogeco Cable.
"Cogeco Cable and Cable 14 have been long time supporters of the Tiger-Cats, and we are very excited to carry this relationship another step forward. The increased interest in the Tiger-Cats throughout the area makes this the right time to launch the show," said Brent Rickert, General Manager of Cable 14.
"We are thrilled at the reach of the broadcast," said Christopher Dean, the Ticats General Manager of Business Operations. "The show will be seen all the way from Oakville to Niagara Falls through Cogeco Cable. It will be available in more than 540,000 households."
Hamilton Cable 14 will be responsible for the production of the broadcast. The show will be taped at Frisco's Eatery and Sports Bar at Upper Ottawa and Stone Church in Hamilton. Fans are invited to attend the taping's at Frisco's.
"We want the show to be current, topical and in a format that allows our fans to get their questions answered by the club," said Team President David Sauve. "We want feedback from our fans. The culture of our organization is based on it. We hope this show will be provide another avenue for our fans to become an active participant in Tiger-Cats football."
The first "Cats on Cable" show, will be taped Tuesday August 24, and will air Thursday, August 26, from 8 to 9 pm on Cable 14 and the Cogeco Ontario Network.
