US television coverage of CFL expands again

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New York, New York & Toronto, August 17, 2004 - The Canadian Football League and Trajectory Sports & Media Group announced today that Comcast SportsNet is bringing CFL games to the Delaware Valley area, further expanding U.S. coverage of Canadian football under agreements arranged by Trajectory Sports & Media Group.

Comcast SportsNet, a 24-hour regional cable television network, delivers sports coverage and news to viewers in and around Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. Cable operators carrying Comcast SportsNet include Comcast, Cablevision, Time Warner/Urban Cable Works and others – reaching nearly three million viewers in an area that extends as far north as Scranton, Pennsylvania, and as far south as Dover, Delaware.

The Comcast SportsNet coverage of CFL games was arranged by Trajectory Sports & Media Group, which has the marketing responsibility for Canadian football coverage in the United States and internationally. Other networks authorized to carry CFL action as the result of Trajectory Sports & Media Group agreements include America One Sports, Comcast/ Charter Sports Southeast, Cox Sports TV, Empire Sports Network (New York), Madison Square Garden Network, Fox Sports New York, Fox Sports Digital Nets, New England Sports Network, Fox Sports Middle East and the North American Sports Network in the United Kingdom.
