Former Lynx pitcher Craig Anderson stymied the Lynx offence as the Norfolk Tides beat the Lynx 3-0.

The loss drops the Lynx record to 36-53 while Norfolk drops to 43-49.

Lynx Players Of The Day: Lynx relievers Jason Anderson (three innings) and Kane Davis (one inning) combined to shut the Tides out over the final four innings of Friday's game.

Game Recap: Baltimore's current Triple-A affiliate, the Norfolk Tides, took one from the last Baltimore affiliate and it was a former Lynx pitcher who kept the Lynx bats at bay. Craig Anderson held the Lynx to two hits over seven shutout innings to pick up the win. Danny Sandoval doubled in the eighth, Chris Roberson singled in the sixth and Joe Thurston singled in the fourth and that was it for the Lynx offence. Jason Anderson threw three shutout innings and Kane Davis threw a scoreless ninth in a losing effort for the home Lynx.

Next Game: The Lynx host the Tides for the third game of this four-game set on the day of the Lynx 15th Anniversary Celebration. First pitch is at 1:05pm.

Probable Pitchers: Saturday vs. Norfolk, 1:05 pm: Ottawa LHP J.A. Happ (1-3, 4.97) takes on Norfolk RHP Tim Kester (6-8, 6.04).
