Tickets for Tenth reaches halfway mark
March 24, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release
Lafayette, LA â The Louisiana IceGators announced today they have reached the halfway point of their "Tickets for the Tenth" season ticket drive. Since the announcement of the season ticket drive, the IceGators have collected more than 500 deposits for next year. The initial goal of the campaign is to secure 1000 season ticket deposits by May 1, 2004.
"The IceGators organization is excited to have reached the halfway point of our goal within just two weeks of season ticket sales," said IceGators general manager Brian Kelley. "This includes many new season ticket accounts, which is a positive trend. We hope to hear from our remaining season ticket holders and new fans in the near future, so we can reach our goal well before May 1st."
Season ticket packages for 2004-05 include full season (36 games) and partial season packages. Deposits for the season tickets are $25 per seat. Fans purchasing a 12-game playoff package may use any remaining balance from unused playoff tickets as a deposit on their 2004-05 season ticket package.
In an effort to create the loudest building in the ECHL and to bring the fans closer to the action, 300-level seating will not be available for the 2004-05 season of IceGators hockey. To accommodate those season ticket holders who will have to move from the 300-level, new seats anywhere in the 200-level will be the same price as their current 300-level seats. Approximately 4700 seats will comprise the new seating configuration.
The IceGators also are keeping the season ticket package prices from last year, with one change: rinkside seating will be the same price as the 100-level. Rinkside and 100-level seats will be offered for $468 for adults and $225 for kids (aged 2 â 12). 200-level seats will be $387 for adults and $225 for kids (aged 2 â 12). Kids under two who do not require a seat will no longer need a ticket or "Buddy Pass."
Call the IceGators office at 337-234-4423 for more information or to order playoff packages and season tickets.
