ROX HOME THIS WEEKEND

TICKET AMNESTY NIGHT, FIREWORKS, LUNCH BOX GIVEAWAY & MORE THIS WEEKEND!

The Rox are back in action at Campanelli Stadium tonight to kickoff a four game weekend series against the Sussex Skyhawks. Find a home for your unused 2007 Brockton Rox t ickets tonight at Campanelli Stadium for Ticket Amnesty Night. Any unused tickets from Rox games this year can be exchanged for a ticket to tonight's game at the Rox Ticket Office. Tonight is also the last Thirsty Thursday of the season, as you can get a $2 Narragansett draft throughout the stadium. Columbia Electric will also celebrate their 75th Aniversary at the ballpark on Electricians Night, taking the field for the electric slide in between innings. Gates open at 6:00 PM with the first pitch scheduled at 7:05 PM.

Join us Friday, August 17th for Negro League Appreciation Night. Both the Brockton Rox and the Sussex Skyhawks will don authentic Negro League uniforms. Nine different teams in all will be featured including Jackie Robinson's Kansas City Monarchs, Cool Papa Bell's St. Louis Stars and Josh Gibson's Homestead Grays. After the game, the Rox ever popular Friday Night Fireworks will illuminate the skies over Campanelli Stadium. Gates open at 6:00 PM with the first pitch scheduled against the Skyhawks at 7:05 PM.

On Saturday, August 18th the first 1,000 kids age 12 & under to come through the gates of Campanelli Stadium will receive free Rox lunch boxes! Be sure to get in line early to ensure you will take home this classic Rox collectible. Gates open at 6:00 PM with the first pitch scheduled at 7:05 PM.

The Rox wrap up the series against the Skyhawks on Sunday, August 19th. Families can play catch on the field before the game, enjoy free pony rides, face painting and balloon twisters, and run the bases after the game. The Rox team will also stay on the field for a post-game autograph session following the game. And as a special treat, it's Muppett Madness so the entire night will be themed around Miss Piggy, Kermit, and all your favorite muppets! Gates open at 4:00 PM with the first pitch scheduled for 5:05 PM.

KISS THE SEASON GOODBYE - SATURDAY, AUGUST 25TH!

Rock n Roll All Night on the last weekend of the regular season as we celebrate Gene Simmons Birthday in the ESPN Top Ten ranked promotion "Kiss the Season Goodbye."
