
Ticats Suspend Woodard

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has suspended offensive lineman Jonta Woodard one game for actions detrimental to the team.
"Jonta realizes that his actions Thursday night were not acceptable or appropriate," said head coach Greg Marshall. "I have spoken to Jonta about what happened on the field and he understands the organization's decision to suspend him for a game."
Woodard was ejected during the fourth quarter of the Ticats game versus the Toronto Argonauts on October 27. The ejection was the first of his CFL career.
The Ticats (4-13) finish off their 2005 campaign on Friday, November 4 at Ivor Wynne Stadium against the Montreal Alouettes (9-7). The game can be heard live on AM 900 CHML.
