Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
PEORIA, Ill. - Thursday night's game at Dozer Park between the Kernels and the Peoria Chiefs was postponed due to rain. It was scheduled to be the final game of a four-game set.
The game will be made up in Cedar Rapids as part of a doubleheader at a date to be announced. The game will be played in Cedar Rapids because the Kernels do not return to Peoria in the remainder of the first half.
The Kernels begin a road commuter series at Clinton on Friday night. First pitch at Ashford University Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The Kernels return home on Monday, April 28 v. Kane County at 6:35 p.m. It's a Dollar Monday as regular hot dogs, small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, chips, and Cracker Jacks are each just $1.00 on Monday home games.
Tickets are available at www.kernels.com. You can also visit the Kernels Ticket Office at Veterans Memorial Stadium or call 319-896-7560.
