
LumberKings-River Bandits Postponed

Clinton, IA - Thursday's game between the Clinton LumberKings and Quad Cities River Bandits has been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader next Monday at Quad Cities' Modern Woodmen Park. Game one is set for 6:00 PM CT and game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The LumberKings and River Bandits played the first three games of their scheduled four-game set, with Clinton winning one of the three, a 7-6 win Monday night.
Clinton opens a three-game series tomorrow night at Ashford University Field with the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The LumberKings opened their 2014 season in Cedar Rapids and split four games against the Kernels (9-10).
Left-hander Jake Zokan (1-0, 2.40) takes the mound against Cedar Rapids and will be opposed by southpaw Randy Rosario (0-1, 5.40). The first of five fireworks displays will follow the conclusion of tomorrow night's game.
