
ThunderBolts Host Baldy Sour Night Tonight

Tuesday, August 11 is Baldy Sour Night at Standard Bank Stadium. The Windy City ThunderBolts, in conjunction with Fantastic Sam's and the St. Baldrick's Foundation will be shaving heads to help find a cure to childhood cancer. Prior to the 7:05 game between Windy City and the Florence Freedom, fans can volunteer to have their heads shaved for free admission to the game along with a voucher for a hot dog and fountain drink.
The mission of the St. Baldrick's Foundation is to raise awareness and funds to cure kids' cancer by supporting cancer research and fellowship. Many volunteers are involved in this event to raise money for St. Baldrick's.
ThunderBolt players Brandon Garner, Nate Hall, Nick Hall, Gilberto Mejia, Pete Paris, and Damian Walcott have volunteered to have their heads' shaved before the game. Also getting their hair cut for the cure are front office staffers Ryan Liptrot, Pete Kelly, Jim Rice, Adam Schwarzentraub, and GM Steve Tahsler.
