TRAVERSE CITY, MI - The ThunderBolts broke a 2-2 tie with a seven-run fourth inning on their way to an 11-2 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums at Wuerfel Park Sunday night.
The ThunderBolts (35-49) got the scoring started with single runs in each of the first two innings. Max White had an RBI single in the first and Coco Johnson hit one in the second.
Traverse City (48-34) tied the score in the bottom of the second inning. Brandon Jacobs hit an RBI double and scored on a Yazy Arbelo groundout.

Austin Gallagher came up with the bases loaded and one out and brought home the first two runs of the inning on a single. White followed with an RBI double and Ransom LaLonde doubled home two more runs to make the score 7-2. A Jacob Tanis sacrifice fly and Alex Chittenden RBI single finished the scoring in the fourth.
Cody Keefer doubled home Mike Torres in the fifth inning to give the ThunderBolts a 10-2 lead and LaLonde finished the scoring later that inning with a run-scoring single.
Austin Wright (5-10) allowed only five hits and no walks in his six innings as he earned the win and Rob Blanc (1-5) took the loss, giving up five runs in 3.1 innings.
