Seattle Thunderbirds News Release
KENT, Wash. - The Seattle Thunderbirds have announced the signing of defenseman Tai Riley to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. The 2007 born Riley has played the last two seasons with HC Edmonton U18 in the Junior Prospects Hockey League. He has produced strong offensive numbers over his 50 games with 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points over the past two seasons.
"We are excited to welcome Tai and his family to the Thunderbirds", said General Manager Bil La Forge. "We feel his offensive skill set and tremendous skating ability will complement our other players in his age group well. His development in the JPHL and HSL the last six years has been very impressive, and he will be a fan favorite in Kent for years to come."
