EARLY RETURNS - Wichita went 2-0-0-1 this past week, claiming five out of a possible six points and moved up to third place in the standings. The Thunder will face Rapid City three out of the next four contests, starting on Friday night at INTRUST Bank Arena. ON A TEAR - Jared Walker continued his red-hot start, recording points in all five games this season. Walker leads the team with six points (4g, 2a) while Stephen Schultz and Ian Lowe are tied with five points each. STANDING TALL - Tim Boron got his first two wins of the season last week, beating Tulsa and Missouri in back-to-back games. Boron shut out Tulsa on Wednesday evening, making 27 saves and collecting his 13th all-time pro shutout of his career. Boron followed that up with a 19-save, 4-2 victory over Missouri on Wednesday night. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native went 2-0-0-0, stopping 46 of 48 shots he faced, good for a GAA of 1.00 and a save percentage of .958.

Danick Gauthier made his presence felt against Missouri, scoring two third-period goals on Saturday night to help the Thunder to a 4-2 win. It was the first start for Bunz since March 22nd, when he took a puck to the throat playing for the Bakersfield Condors last season.
CLAMPING DOWN - Since giving up 11 goals in the first two games of the season, the Thunder defense has clamped down. Wichita has given up just five goals over the last three contests while scoring eight themselves.
