THIS PAST WEEK:
About Friday Night in Quad City: A two point night from Joe Basaraba and Josh Shalla, along with a 20-save performance from Sam Brittain, helped the Cyclones claim a 3-2 win over the Mallards in front of 2,422 at the iWireless Center.
About Saturday Night in Quad City: A four point night for forward Andrew Yogan highlighted a strong showing by the Cyclones as they defeated the Mallards by a 5-4 final score in front of 4,126 at the iWireless Center. In addition to Yogan's offensive showing, Michael Neal, Stephan Vigier, Joe Basaraba, and Josh McFadden all registered multi-point games. Goaltender Sam Brittain made 27 saves to earn his second straight victory.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
A Busy Week Ahead: For the first time this season, the Cyclones will play a three-in-three weekend beginning Friday night at U.S. Bank Arena. On November 7, Cincinnati will host the Indy Fuel for the first time at 7:30pm on a Kids Eat FREE Night. The following night, November 8, the Cyclones host "Frozen Night" against the Wheeling Nailers. Then on Sunday, Matt Macdonald's team will hit the road for their second of five 2014-15 trips to Toledo where they'll meet the Walleye at 5:15pm.
Basaraba Gets the Call: Cyclones forward Joe Basaraba, who was nominated for ECHL Player of the Week today, received his first professional AHL call-up after completing an impressive weekend. Against Quad City, the Florida Panthers draft pick notched back-to-back multi-point games and leads the Cyclones with eight tallies (3g, 5a) in his first four contests.
Yogan's Heroes: Forward Andrew Yogan has continued his point-per-game ECHL pace this season. He has put his name on the scoresheet in each of his first four tilts of the 2014-15 campaign and ranks second on the club with seven points (2g, 5a). In his career at the "AA" level, the former New York Rangers draft pick has amassed 34 points in 35 games.
