
Carson McMillan Assigned to Orlando

Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, announced today that F Carson McMillan has been assigned to Orlando by the Toronto Marlies. In addition, F Tyler Biggs has been recalled to the Marlies by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
McMillan (6-1, 200 lbs.) was drafted in the seventh round (#200 overall) by the Minnesota Wild in the 2007 NHL Draft. He has played 16 games in the NHL (including one during the 2013-14 season), all for the Wild, scoring two goals and adding three assists for five points. McMillan skated in 68 games for the Iowa Wild (AHL) last season, collecting 28 points on 12 goals and 16 assists. He has played in 317 AHL games with the Iowa Wild and Houston Aeros over his five-year career, notching 41 goals and adding 47 assists for 88 points.
"Carson brings a veteran presence to our organization," said Head Coach Vince Williams. "His experience and ability to play in all situations will make him an asset to our hockey club."
A native of Brandon, Manitoba, McMillan is expected to be available to the Solar Bears this weekend as the team hosts the Greenville Road Warriors at the Amway Center on Saturday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 9, at 1:00 p.m. For tickets, click here.
