Trailing 5-4, Taylor Dugas walked to begin the inning and Jake Cave followed with a double to put two runners in scoring position. Renda then lined a 1-0 offering from Nefi Ogando into the right field corner to score both runners and take the lead.
Nick Goody allowed just one hit and struck out five batters over the final two innings to finish his fourth save of the season.
