MAYBE TONIGHT IS THE RIGHT RECIPE:The Sea Dogs look to snap a six-game home losing streak, taking on the Binghamton Mets on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field...Portland is 14 games under .500 for the first time since they were 42-56 on July 18, 2012...The B-Mets have won six straight games at Hadlock Field, dating back to the 2014 Eastern Division Championship Series...RHP Heri Quevedo makes his third start of the season and his second at home.

NICE FIRST IMPRESSION:Marco Hernandez led off the bottom of the first inning with a homer, but that would be Portland's lone run, falling to the Binghamton Mets, 6-1 on Tuesday night in the series opener...Gabriel Ynoa (3-4) fired seven innings on four hits and one run to notch the win...At one point, Ynoa retired 15 in a row, and threw 59 of 92 pitches for strikes...Mike Augliera (2-10) suffered the loss for Portland, yielding five runs (three earned) over 5 IP...Portland committed four errors over innings two and three, leading to 2 unearned runs...Brock Peterson went 2-for-4, 2 RBI and a double for the Mets.
