
Thunder Returns Home for Two Great Weekend Promotions

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, return home this weekend for a pair of games against the Kansas City Mavericks in the Independence Cup Series.
Kansas City has taken the first two meetings of the season, both of which were at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Tomorrow's game is the middle portion of a three-game mini-series between the Thunder and the Mavericks. Wichita lost the first match-up on November 2nd in overtime by the final of 2-1. Kansas City claimed a 5-3 win on Tuesday morning.
Friday, November 16th is Wizards Night, honoring the world of Harry Potter. Dress in your best wizard costume and get involved in finding the Golden Snitch for a chance to win some great prizes. The arena will be split into the four houses as well. The team will be wearing a special jersey that will be auctioned exclusively on the DASH Auction app.
Saturday night is Nickelodeon Night featuring SpongeBob SquarePants. Get to the game early and meet your favorite character from Bikini Bottom and have your picture taken with him before the end of the second intermission. The team will be wearing a special SpongeBob-themed jersey that will be auctioned off live after the game.
