
Thunder makes Trade

WICHITA, KS- The Thunder acquired forward Tim Earl from the Austin Ice Bats today in exchange for future considerations.
A native of Troy, New York, Earl is in his second stint with the Thunder. He joined the Thunder as an amateur for the 2005 CHL playoffs, notching an assist in five games. Earl spent last season with the Oklahoma City Blazers, picking up 12 goals and 30 points in 59 games.
Earl had five goals and 13 points in 35 games with the Ice Bats this season and ranks ninth in the CHL with a plus/minus rating of +14. He will not play tonight when the Thunder face-off at the Laredo Bucks at 7:30 p.m.
