Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release

The Killer Bees (14-17-5, 33 pts.) face off for the only time this season against the Rocky Mountain Rage (8-21-4, 20 pts.) tonight at Dodge Arena. The Bees romped Wichita 6-1 last night with Rob Voltera and Matt Reynolds picking up a pair of goals each. Jeff Van Nynatten earned his first win in over two months and Voltera bagged his 100th career goal. Thanks to a Laredo victory at Austin last night, the Bees are now two points out of third place in the Southeast Division. The Rage have struggled through their first CHL season and are currently winless in six games (0-5-1). They dropped a 6-2 decision at Corpus Christi last night. They have earned just two road wins; their first ever game at Colorado and a New Year's Eve match at Oklahoma City.
