Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, will close out their home portion of the regular season tonight against the Tulsa Oilers.

Wednesday night's meeting was the 275th All-Time with the Oilers claiming a 5-1 victory. Tulsa leads 18-10 in the points department of the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series, but more importantly are still three points out of a playoff spot. Tulsa has 75 points while Quad City has 78. The Mallards can still finish in seventh place ahead of Cincinnati as they go head-to-head this weekend. The Thunder can play the role of spoiler this weekend, playing the Oilers tonight and tomorrow.

Christophe Lalancette (3g, 5a) and Adam Pleskach (2g, 6a) lead the Oilers with eight points against the Thunder. Kevin Carr is 4-0-1 against Wichita, sporting a goals-against average of 1.55 and .938 save percentage. Jussi Olkinuora is 2-1-1 against the Thunder, carrying a 1.47 goals-against average and .945 save percentage.

Kale Kerbashian leads the way for the Thunder with seven points (3g, 4a) against the Oilers. David Shantz is 3-1-2 in seven appearances against the Oilers, sporting a 1.37 goals-against average and .946 save percentage.

Wichita will close out the regular season tomorrow night at the BOK Center against Tulsa at 7:05 p.m.
