
Thunder Falls To Rush

Wichita Thunder News Release
The Wichita Thunder lost 3-1 to the Rapid City Rush at the Kansas Coliseum on Wednesday night.
Luke Erickson and Scott Wray scored first period goals for the Rush to give them a 2-0 lead. Colt King added a power play goal in the second to make it 3-0. The Thunder's lone goal came from Jordan Little, his first of the season at 7:07 in the third.
Jon Horrell saved 16 of 19 in the loss. Wichita was 0 for 7 on the power play. Glenn Detulleo's point streak came to an end at six games. Wichita has scored a third period goal in six straight games.
The Thunder next plays on Friday when they take on the Mavericks in Independence, MO.
