WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder fell 2-1 to the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs at the Century Tel Center on Saturday night. The Mudbugs took a 2-0 lead in the second on even strength goals from Tyrel Lucas at 4:09, and J.J. Martin at 10:16. Scott Rozendal closed the gap to 2-1, knocking in a rebound at 15:34. The Thunder worked with an extra attacked during the game's final minute, but could not tie the game.

Krister Toews saved 24 of 26 in the loss. Former Thunder goaltender Jon Horrell earned the win, saving 37 of 38. Wichita went 0 for 8 on the power play.
