
Jacks' Streak Snapped in Overtime

(Odessa, TX) - Rio Grande's Jay Hardwick snapped a six-game win streak for Odessa with an overtime winner to give the Bees a 4-3 victory on Saturday night at the Ector County Coliseum.
The Jackalopes tied the game at 3-3 in the third period on Brian Swiniarski's second goal of the game. He also added a first period goal. Josh Chase closed the game to 3-2 with a third period goal as well.
Jesse Bennefield also scored a pair of goals for the Killer Bees in the second period.
The Jacks have lost two games in overtime this season, both at home to Rio Grande Valley. Odessa will travel to Mississippi on Friday for a matchup with the Riverkings.
