Thunder Announces Playoff Schedule, Will Face Mavs

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder has officially learned they will play the Missouri Mavericks in the Opening Round of the 2011 Central Hockey League playoffs.
The Thunder will host the Mavericks for Game One at the INTRUST Bank Arena on Wednesday, March 30th. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The best-of-five series follows a 1-2-1-1 format.
Earlier today, the Bloomington Prairie Thunder clinched the Turner Conference's number three seed by reaching overtime in an eventual shootout loss versus Evansville. The result of that game left Missouri with the number four seed, and a matchup against fifth-seeded Wichita.

Game 1- Wednesday, March 30th at Wichita (INTRUST Bank Arena)
Game 2- Friday, April 1st, at Missouri (Independence Events Center)
Game 3- Saturday, April 2nd, at Missouri (Independence Events Center)
Game 4*- Tuesday, April 5th at Wichita (INTRUST Bank Arena)
Game 5*- Wednesday, April 7th, at Missouri (Independence Events Center)
