Wichita Signs Forward Tyler Preziuso

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today that the team has signed forward Tyler Preziuso for the 2026-27 season.
"We're excited to welcome Tyler to our organization for the upcoming season," commented Head Coach Travis Clayton. "He plays a complete, high-character game and has proven his ability to produce consistently at both the junior and collegiate levels. We look forward to his contributions here in Wichita."
Preziuso, 27, is entering his second season as a pro. The Burnaby, British Columbia native played his rookie campaign overseas for the Elite Ice Hockey League's Guildford Flames. In 31 games, Preziuso recorded 12 points (5g, 7a) while also collecting an assist during the playoffs.
Prior to heading to Europe, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward played four years at the University of Alberta (USports). He tallied 74 points (39g, 35a) in 94 career games.
He played his junior career in the Western Hockey League for Medicine Hat and Vancouver. Preziuso was named an alternate captain for both teams during the 2019-20 campaign. His best season came in 2018-19 when he posted 50 points (21g, 29a) in 68 games for the Tigers.
