Thunder Announces Opening Round Schedule vs. Colorado

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, announced today the schedule for the opening round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Colorado Eagles..
It will be a best-of-seven series under a 2-3-1-1 format with the series opening in Wichita for the first two contests. This will be the third time Wichita and Colorado have met in the postseason and first time since the two teams have been members of the ECHL. The last meeting between the Thunder and the Eagles in the postseason came during the 2004-05 season when Colorado knocked off Wichita four games to two.

Game 1 - Colorado at Wichita - Sunday, April 15th, 4:05 p.m.
Game 2 - Colorado at Wichita - Monday, April 16th, 7:05 p.m.
Game 3 - Wichita at Colorado - Wednesday, April 18th, 8:05 p.m.
Game 4 - Wichita at Colorado - Friday, April 20th, 8:05 p.m.
Game 5* - Wichita at Colorado - Saturday, April 21st, 8:05 p.m.
Game 6* - Colorado at Wichita - Monday, April 23rd, 7:05 p.m.
Game 7* - Wichita at Colorado - Wednesday, April 25th, 8:05 p.m.
