Fuel Host Kalamazoo Today with Playoff Berth at Stake

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel will have a chance to clinch the playoff berth in franchise history Sunday afternoon as they take on the Kalamazoo Wings in their 2017-18 regular season finale. The winner of Sunday's game will secure the fourth seed in the ECHL's Central Division and will meet the Toledo Walleye in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs, beginning next week.
By picking up a point in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss with Toledo, the Fuel moved one point ahead of Kalamazoo in the standings. However, the Wings own the tie-breaker in the event the two teams finish tied in points, so Indy must defeat Kalamazoo Sunday in order to clinch a playoff spot. The Fuel hold a 6-3 record through nine games against the Wings this season, winning four of the last five meetings.
