Royals Announce Playoff Dates for Series vs. Manchester

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals announced Sunday the dates for the 2018 Kelly Cup Playoffs North Division Semifinals series vs. the Manchester Monarchs. The Royals home playoff contests (games 3-5) for the first round are Mon., Apr. 16, Wed., Apr. 18 and Thurs., Apr. 19 (if necessary) and start at 7:00 p.m. Playoff tickets are available at Santander Arena and offices are open from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 610-898-7825 to purchase tickets.

The Royals are offering 5 playoff vouchers starting at $85. Use the five vouchers at any home playoff games. The team is also providing curbside ticket service; pull up outside the Lion's Den Team Store at the corner of 8th and Penn Street and a Royals ticket staff member will bring your tickets to you.

Game 1 at Manchester: Fri, Apr. 13, 7:00 p.m.

Game 2 at Manchester: Sat, Apr. 14, 6:00 p.m.

Game 3 vs. Manchester: Mon, Apr. 16, 7:00 p.m., Santander Arena

Game 4 vs. Manchester: Wed, Apr. 18, 7:00 p.m., Santander Arena

Game 5 vs. Manchester (if necessary): Thu, Apr. 19, 7:00 p.m., Santander Arena

Game 6 at Manchester (if necessary): Sat, Apr. 21, 3:00 p.m.

Game 7 at Manchester (if necessary): Tue, Apr. 24, 7:00 p.m.

Reading completed the regular season third in the North Division, accumulating a 39-24-9-0 record (87 points). Manchester went 41-25-3-3, good for 88 points and the second seed in the North. The teams have never faced off in the postseason and the Royals won five of the nine season series matchups.
