
Three Slammers to Play in All-Star Game

Three Joliet Slammers have been selected to play for the West Division in the Frontier League All-Star game. Catcher Jack Cleary will join pitchers Kevin McNorton and Navery Moore in representing the team. Cleary is batting .262 with 20 RBI while pacing the team with a .349 batting average with runners in scoring position. McNorton has been strong as both a starter and a reliever with a 1.98 ERA in 36.1 innings pitched to go along with a 3-2 record. He's also struck out 33 and walked just five. Navery Moore is one of the league leaders in saves (8) and has a 1.31 ERA in 20.2 innings pitched with a 2:1 strikeout to walk ratio. The All-Star game will take place on Wednesday, July 15th at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, IL.
