Reading, PA -- The Harrisburg Senators slammed three two-run homers in the space of two innings and knocked off the Phillies 7-3 to close out their series at two games apiece. The Phillies (11-8) finished their longest homestand at a disappointing 3-5.
Dan Dement, Seth Bynum and Frank Diaz all sent balls into the seats in left field, and after three innings the Senators (5-14) led 7-0.
Brian Burgamy, who took away extra bases with a leaping catch in the fourth, got the Phillies on the board with a solo homer in their half, also to the jet stream in left He also walked twice and stole two bases.
A single by Greg Jacobs (2-for-4) and a double by Jason Hill keyed a two-run Phillies ninth.
Tim McCaskey (1-2) took the loss. Beltran Perez (1-1), a Washington Senators September call-up last season, allowed a run and four hits over 6.2 innings for the win.
