Kamloops, BC - Three Kamloops Blazers are in NHL Central Scouting's Watch List for the 2020 NHL Draft in Montreal.
Forward Connor Zary is listed with a 'B' rating indicating a potential 2nd/3rd round pick in the NHL Draft. The 18-year-old forward is second in WHL scoring with three goals, seven assists and 10 points in the first seven games of the season.
Zary has points in all seven games he's played this season after recording 67 points in 63 games last season as a 17-year-old.
He also represented Canada at the Under-18 World Championships this past April and had four goals, three assists and seven points in seven games at the tournament.
Goaltender Dylan Garand is listed with a 'C' rating indicating a potential 4th/5th/6th round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
The 17-year-old goaltender has a 2.69 goals against average and a .909 save percentage in six games this season. He also played 27 games as a 16-year-old last season with a .902 save percentage and 2.94 goals against average.
The Victoria, BC native has suited up for Canada at the Under-17 World Challenge in November 2018 and at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial tournament in August.
Forward Josh Pillar is listed with a 'C' rating indicating a potential 4th/5th/6th round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
The Warman, SK native played all 68 games as a 16-year-old and had seven goals, 15 assists and 22 points last season.
This season, the 17-year-old forward has a goal and two assists this season.
Also listed with a 'C' rating is prospect Josh Doan. The 17-year-old is playing this season with the Chicago Steel in the USHL.
