Thrashers, Wolves Make Moves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned goaltender Michael Garnett from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL to the Chicago Wolves and have recalled center Daniel Corso from the Wolves.

Garnett shares third in the ECHL with 18 wins, ranks third in the league with 1,692 minutes and ranks sixth with a 2.27 goals-against average in 29 games with Gwinnett. Overall, Garnett has posted an 18-9 mark with a .919 save percentage with the Gladiators this season.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native appeared in two regular-season games with Chicago last year, posting a 3.64 goals-against average with a 0-1-0-0 record.

Corso has posted five points (2G, 3A) in four games with the Wolves after being acquired by the Thrashers from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Brad Tapper on Jan. 6.

Overall, the Montreal, Quebec, native has posted nine goals and 23 points in 36 games with Chicago and Ottawa's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
