IceCats Loan Defenseman

WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced that the IceCats have loaned defenseman Joe Vandermeer to the Blues/IceCats ECHL affiliate, the Peoria (IL) Rivermen.

Vandermeer was recalled from the Rivermen yesterday morning and participated in last night's 3-1 win over Springfield. In all, the Red Deer, Alberta native has skated in three games for the IceCats, recording no points. He has played in 31 games with Peoria. The 5-10, 180 pound defenseman has recorded two goals and 15 assists with Peoria: 31(2/15/17).

The IceCats are next at home on Sunday when they welcome the Albany River Rats. The game time is NOW 7:15.
