Coming off a 3-0 start to the preseason, which included a stretch of 13 goals scored, the Everett Silvertips head to Toyota Center, home of the Tri-City Americans for a two-day preseason tournament on Thursday and Friday. The Silvertips, led in the preseason by CHL import draftee Yan Khomenko's five points in three games, face the Prince George Cougars (0-1-1, preseason) on Thursday, followed by next morning's preseason rematch with the Portland Winterhawks (2-1-0, preseason). Fans are encouraged to follow preseason action with real-time scoring updates at the WHL's official website, www.whl.ca and the Silvertips official website.

The following players, either on the Silvertips preseason roster or eligible to return to play in Everett this season, are headed to NHL camps:
(D) Kevin Davis | Edmonton Oilers

Help FILL THE HOUSE for Opening Night! (And, help a family too.)
Opening Night at XFNITY Arena is just one month away and the Silvertips know much of their best hockey is played before a packed out building in Everett, filled with loudest fans wearing green. But Oct. 10, the home opener against the Spokane Chiefs, takes on a whole new meaning of "fill the house." While tickets going fast, fans are asked to contribute in more ways than one.
Fill the House, supporting Housing Hope and presented by BECU, means your night out at XFINITY Arena also means a safe and warm night at home in for a family in need. Simply purchase a ticket for Opening Night - as low as $22 per seat* - and you get a free flat bill, "snapback" Silvertips hat (first 300 ticket orders). In addition, up to $7 per ticket will be donated by the Silvertips to Housing Hope (www.housinghope.com), providing comprehensive housing opportunities to support families, whether in need of emergency shelter, transitional housing, affordable rentals and unique homeownership programs.
*Upper level seats ($22) and lower level seats ($25) are available for a limited time and not available at the XFINITY Arena Box office.
