The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned left wings RAMZI ABID (RAM-zee a-BIHD) and KARL STEWART to the Chicago Wolves.

ABID has collected two assists and four penalty minutes in four games spanning two stints with Atlanta this year. Overall, the Montreal native has tallied 13 goals and 25 points in 53 National Hockey League games with the Phoenix Coyotes (2002-03), Pittsburgh Penguins (2002-2004) and Atlanta (2005-06).

He leads the Wolves with 17 goals, 20 assists and 37 points in 33 contests. The 25-year-old forward is tied for ninth in the American Hockey League with nine power-play markers.

STEWART, who has been recalled to Atlanta three times this season, has racked up 15 penalty minutes in eight games with the Thrashers this year. Overall, he has accumulated 19 penalty minutes in 13 NHL games with Atlanta (2003 - 2006).

The Aurora, Ontario, native shares second on the Wolves with 10 goals and ranks sixth on the squad with 64 penalty minutes in 29 games.
